Traditional Art Favorites of 2011!
Another year is over and it's time for my annual art feature of works submitted in 2011!
This is both my favorite and the most difficult art feature to make. After going through thousands and thousands of works you can imagine how hard it was to pick just some.
Artworks were chosen by different combination of the following "criteria":
general impression • emotion conveying • meaning of the artwork • pure awesomeness • idea/concept • originality • complexity • technique • quality • subject • incredible realism • great style • everything else I forgot to write

Its Been A Very Busy And Exciting Couple Of Weeks Here At The M Palace...
But Never Hectic Enough To Keep Me From Looking At Deviations, Faving
Deviations Or Featuring Deviations and Deviants...I Love Looking At
Inspiring Pieces, Meeting New Artists And Discovering Jewels In The
Big Sea Of Deviant Art.
Many Times I Am Asked,
"How Do I Get Discovered"
"How Do I Make My Work Stand Out"
"How Can I Get A DD???"
And My Heart Goes Out To All Artists Who Have Asked The
Same Questions I Have.  I Am Not An Expert, And Only Consider
Myself A Beginner In the Art Process, But I Know That To Every
Artist, Their Deviations Are The Most Important Pieces Ever Submitted.
Artists Search Through Their Folders On Their Computers With Great Care,
Spend Many Hours In Most Cases Editing, Cropping, Using All The Tools
Available To Them, And Then, And Then, Finally The Decision To Submit
The Work To Their Gallery....Even After 4 Years, That Final Decision
To Hit The Submit Butto
